Health & Safety Statement
It is our Company Policy to:

Comply with the duties required by the Construction (Design
& Management) Regulations 2007 and other relevant legislation and meet the
standards required to protect all of our employees whilst at work and any
person likely to be affected by our work operations

Provide and maintain a healthy working environment at all times

Ensure adequate control of H & S risks arising from work activities;
including communicating with the client and sub contractors

Provide all necessary instruction, training, supervision and other relevant
H & S information to employees

Ensure all employees are competent in the work activity they are engaged in

Continue to consult with and update employees on all H & S issues
-
Where practicable, adequate arrangements for suitable and sufficient
assessment of work activities in order to identify associated hazards and
control the risks arising.
Waste Management Statement
It is our Company Policy to:

Adopt the principles of the 'best
practicable environmental option' in the delivery of its waste management
services
-
Apply a 'waste hierarchical approach', to reduce, reuse,
recycle and recover waste products in preference to the disposal of waste to
landfill
-
Recognise the legal requirements and to manage its waste
responsibly, reduce the volume of waste sent to landfill and maximise reuse
and recycling where possible

Have a duty to ensure that all waste is disposed of responsibly,
using approved, registered waste contractors
-
Recognise that its activities have an impact on the environment
and is committed to improve its environmental performance and minimise their
harmful affects through caring policies and effective management
Environmental Statement
The company accepts and acknowledges its obligations and responsibilities
under legislation and guidance dealing with environmental issues that effect
or arise in consequence of its business. The company will apply the
methodology of its Environmental Policy to identify and determine the
environmental issues requiring attention and implementation of the measures
to achieve improvement. In particular attention will be given to:

Environmental awareness and understanding of our business activity,
providing training as necessary and encouraging sub-contractors and
suppliers to adopt sound environmental practices

The considerate use of land undergoing development having special regard to
archaeology finds and the storage, treatment and disposal of any waste,
hazardous or potentially toxic materials to avoid environmental harm
-
The use and re-use of materials to minimise waste and the use of materials
and products from sustainable sources

Control the emission of pollutants, noise, dust and the use of potentially
harmful substances and treatments during construction activities
-
Conserve energy through sensible selection, use and management of resources,
equipment, plant and transport
-
The continued development, monitoring and investigation of systems,
practices and procedures at each stage of construction to ensure the
environment remain a foremost consideration
Our policies will be kept up to date, particularly as the business changes
in nature and size. To ensure this, the policies and the way in which they
are implemented will be reviewed as and when required.
